I don't know if you do requests or memorials, but I've got one.  My graduate advisor and chair of my master's committee, Dr Kevin Granata was killed yesterday in Norris Hall.  He left behind a wife, 3 young children, almost a dozen funded grad students and many more alumns.  I graduated last year but it would mean alot to me and I'm sure everyone who knew him if you could just make a simple dedication to him.  He's basically a dead ringer for Prof. Smith, with a smaller goatee and more hair on top of his head. He once said the funniest thing I ever heard in grad school that I thought about submitting here many times...
